You can personalise it over two lines, with line one allowing 20 characters and line two allowing 30; line one appears exactly as you type it, while the second line is shown in fixed uppercase.
As each piece is cut by hand, every clock is unique, with natural variations in texture, cut and smoothness, and you may notice flaking or slightly uneven corners that are part of slate's rustic appeal. Speckles of fool's gold add a striking feature and may occasionally sit within your personalisation. The clock runs on 1 x AA battery, which is not included.
